Poor Quality and Terrible Warranty Support
"I am extremely disappointed with my Travelpro® Pilot bag. The J-hook is very poorly designed and constructed, and it broke much sooner than I would expect from a professional travel bag. For a bag marketed toward frequent travelers and pilots, this kind of failure is simply unacceptable. Even more frustrating, the screws holding the name plate have also fallen out. When I contacted Travelpro for help, I was told these issues would not be covered under warranty, and, unbelievably, Travelpro was unable to provide replacement screws for the name plate. A simple, inexpensive hardware issue should not leave a customer without a solution. I have owned travel bags from other manufacturers and have never experienced this level of poor construction or lack of support. The old design was much more reliable, and the current J-hook design feels flimsy and inadequately engineered for the demands of frequent travel. For the price and reputation of Travelpro, I expected significantly better quality and customer service. I cannot recommend this bag, especially to anyone who travels frequently and depends on their luggage to withstand regular, demanding use."
