"This is a sharp looking carryon! Definitely looks high end. The best part is the quality definitely is high end! This thing is so well constructed I have a feeling this piece of luggage will last decades. The wheels are incredible! The best I have seen from Travelpro or anyone else (and that’s saying a lot). They roll like you wouldn’t believe. The handle also glides smoothly up and down but is strong and sturdy. The case comes with a locking zipper, shoe bags and a luggage tag. All of which are very handy. This carryon is worth every penny!"
"I have several TravelPro carryon and checkin, soft and hardside bags that I've been using for myself and family more than 10 years. This Platinum Elite Carry-On Hardside is an excellent bag. This small size is fitting for an overnight or even 2 or 3 days. Unzipping the expansion provides additional room for the extra nights and access to the pocket for storing a powerbank - a provided cable is connected to built-in exterior USB A and C ports. Several pockets on both zippered sides help organize small items. The included shoe bags are perfect for storing footwear. The hard case is very sturdy with reinforced corners. The handle telescopes smoothly. The 4 wheels glide smoothly across parking lots and sidewalks. The TSA lock is reassuring to keep things safe. I would definitely consider another Platinum Elite purchase should I need an upsize or additional family bag."
"I absolutely love this piece of luggage. I had an opportunity to use it on a short trip over the weekend. I checked the bag. It still looks great. Normally checked baggage has some scratches and scuffs. None. I love the extras, shoe bags and luggage tax. The interior straps kept everything in place. I am considering adding more to this set."
"TRAVELPRO PE NXT GEN C/O EX H/S SPN BLK 5 out of 5 Stars - Very Happy with the Carry-On, March 27, 2026 Very elegant-looking and well-designed light-weight carry-on that is competitively priced. Sturdy construction with good-quality materials. The bag has 4 pairs of wheels and rolls effortlessly and straight, not only on hard floors, but also on carpets and/or rugs. The two handles, one on the wide side and one on the end, offer convenience of loading the bag in a car or the overhead bin in an airplane either wide-side in (smaller bins that I come across on short flights) or end-in (deeper bins on the longer flights). The pull bar can be locked in multiple steps, making the bag easy to roll according to your height and preference. Zippers slide easily without snagging. The combination lock is nicely designed and works very well. The charging pass-through is a great feature with one USB-A and one USB-C output. The charging accessory can be inserted or taken out of the compartment provided for it by unzipping the expanding zipper to reveal the zippered closure for the compartment, without having to open the entire bag. Travelpro should include a warning not to use this feature inflight because the accessory can get hot during use. The presence of a hidden zipper is not obvious to someone who has not had this feature before. There are two equal packing compartments, each with a zippered cover that can be opened to pack each half of the interior. I typically use one side for dressy clothes and the other for shoes, undergarments, pajamas, work-out clothes and grooming accessories. The carry-on included two bags that can be closed with draw strings. I use these for shoes, accessories and toiletries. Both packing compartments have diagonal retainers which work well, but not as well as two retainers going from front to back in each compartment that would enable retaining each half of a compartment individually (like the style on older Travelpro carry-ons). The cover for one compartment has two zippered pockets and the other has one zippered pocket. The packing compartment cover with two half-width zippered pockets is nice because the pocket close to the top end of the bag can be accessed by partially opening the bag closure at that end to insert and/or take out items that I may need while travelling, without having to open the entire bag. On the other compartment cover, I would have liked to have one full width zippered pocket instead of one half-width pocket. I would have been able to use it for my laptop or a manilla folder with my documents. The bag has plenty of room inside for one week’s needs and more by using the expandable option. Travelpro has an excellent warranty and customer service. I have not had any issues with most of the Travelpro luggage that I own, except one issue with a Maxlite soft-sided carry-on where a small narrow flap at bottom partly detached from the main body of the bag. I contacted Travelpro and they promptly sent me a brand new identical replacement without having to return the damaged one."
"This is a well built and light suitcase. It rolls so smoothly and effortlessly. I love that both sides of the suitcase has the zippered divider. I am so spoiled to this that I will not buy another suitcase without it. This is my first suitcase that has the charging port. That is a really nice addition."

I particularly love the reinforced corners—they give me peace of mind that it will hold up perfectly to the wear and tear of overhead bins. The zippers are sturdy and well-constructed, and the interior waterproof compartment is a brilliant bonus. While I haven't tested the power ports yet, I know they will definitely come in handy for long travel days. "Overall I like the bag. I probably would not purchase it because of the size (23 inches) since I travel a lot Internationally. I need a smaller size carryon for that. I personally like soft-sided luggage more than hard-sided luggage, but if there was some way to put in an outside pocket that might convince me to purchase a hard-side bag. I like an outside pocket to put things that I can get to easily without having to open the bag. I like the handle and the wheels. I don't think it's necessary to add shoe bags and luggage tags. The quality of the bag seems really good. I had some difficulty changing the combo on the lock. The instructions are not clear."
